Fishing and 4WD-ing
Hamish and I found a track into the Meroo National Park yesterday and decided to go explore the 4WD tracks.
This is the track down to the water's edge within the National Park .. BEAUTIFUL save for the HUGE March Flies that seemed to be attracted to my hair.
This is the view from the bottom of the track .. BLISS !
We went back today to fish the spot but a large group of people has decided to camp there complete with a port-a-loo !! So, we decided to head back to the 4WD track Hamish normally bashes his way through and lo and behold .. there were fish !! AND I CAUGHT ONE !
My next aim is to land a "keeper" !
